Awareness course An important aspect of competent management is that the resource of the work force is used to the full. Indeed it is a requirement under Health & Safety legislation (PUWER 1998, Reg 9) that management has had adequate training for the safe use of equipment. With respect to lift trucks it means that a managers request should never put the operators in a compromising or risky position. The only way to know that this will not happen is for them to be aware of the capabilities of the Lift Trucks that are operated in your work place. Your have safe working practices and procedures must also reflect this understanding. TTT provides a ½ day course that will be informative and thought provoking in Health and Safety issues. It will also cover the basic principals of operation. TTT will also provide a back up service to the firm for all future enquiries regarding Lift Trucks either through these pages or just pick up the phone. |

Every one of your supervisors on the course receives a coloured manual specific to company trucks along with manufactures guidance if available Every one of your company
supervisors will receive the facility of our Operators Licence validity
scheme. They will also be encouraged to phone us for help regarding fork
lift matters. If we do not know the answer there and then we will find
out. |
