Telescopic Lift Trucks

Don't let this happen to you  ( For more like this click on HSE Logo)
A farmer from Shropshire has been sentenced to fifteen months in prison after a 16 year old worker was killed when a telescope materials handler overturned. According to the prosecution, the youth in question had not received any training in the use of the vehicle. Although both a placement officer from the local agricultural college and an HSE inspector had specifically told the employer that the youngster must not be allowed to operate the machinery until trained, he had been allowed to drive the vehicle quite often.
